A few weeks old puppy in an animal shelter can be scary, unhealthy and uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, a litter of five week old puppies was abandoned to take care of themselves and was eventually taken to a public shelter.
A compassionate woman who also happens to be the president of Pit Sisters heard about the sad situation of the puppies and knew she had to help the 11 puppies.
The president of the Pit Sisters, Jean Deane, decided to pick them up from the public shelter and take them to the vet clinic to get the medical care they needed.
They were a litter of 11 puppies, and they looked identical! They all had a brown color and cute flap ears. But one of them was a bit different; she had inward curled ears that looked like cinnamon buns.
People were surprised by her adorable ears, and she was later called Cinnamon.
Deane knew she had to share the picture of the sweet baby dog with the world, so she put it on social media. It went viral for the right reasons. The world was beaten by it, and fortunately he was quickly adopted!
The unlikely looking doggo is now called Kira and lives in St. John’s, Florida, with her mother and father, Laurie and Matt McGovern. She now also has three dog brothers and sisters she loves and loves.
Over time, her heart-melting ears have curled and changed to their normal shape, but she is undoubtedly still cute!
